Increasing physician knowledge and proficiency with Advocate Health Care's clinical information systems.
- Document type (e.g., saddle, septic)
- Document if cor pulmonale is present. If so, document if cor pulmonale is acute or chronic.
- Specify if PE is chronic (i.e., still present) or resolved. Do not use "history of pulmonary embolus."
- Document if patient is taking anti-coagulant therapy for treatment of active pulmonary embolus or prohylaxis.
